What was the ask

The client is a leading technological solutions broker in the US. They help clients evaluate their technological needs across the whole business structure, and help find the right providers to best fill the needs in a fast paced, constantly evolving technological world.

The evaluation and recommendation methods involved a lot of manual work and due diligence, desperately needing to bring a new, fresh approach which would streamline the questionnaires, and more importantly, automate the complex questionnaire analysis and provide recommendations quickly and accurately, with as much detail and personalization as a real person would provide. The initial request was for 3 separate questionnaires, each aimed at a different technological spectrum.

Where we started

We had a set of designs for the questionnaire updates, as well as requirements on the complex logic which would reside behind the analysis and recommendation process.

This was to be built into the already existing client platform, tightly integrated with all of the various services and databases.

What we achieved

The team quickly and efficiently built out the front end portion of the questionnaire portal. On the behind-the-scenes side, the endeavor was a lot more challenging, as the business logic was extremely complex to achieve the needed accuracy, flexibility and personalization, in order to meet the client’s high standards of service.

The dev team not only implemented all of the required functionality, but went above and beyond, building a custom admin dashboard where the client could, with a bit of tech know-how, build new questionnaires with all of the underlying logic, as well as modify, update and expand the recommendation matrix and algorithms.

A few months later, the client returned with several new requests: to make some feature updates, expand the custom admin dashboard functionality, and help them build a new AI-focused questionnaire in a very short timeframe to meet an event deadline. The team rolled up their sleeves and got right to work, making sure the tight deadlines were met, and all the requested functionality was added.
